Hello, and welcome to my page! I received a Ph.D. in Political Science from the Department of Political Science at the University of Illinois - Urbana-Champaign in December 2019. I study Comparative Politics, focusing on protests and social movements, post-Soviet and Eastern European politics, authoritarianism, democratization, and political behavior. My dissertation heavily incorporates several dimensions of International Relations as well, as I analyze the recent rise of protests in autocracies and hybrid regimes as well as the increased ability of protest actors to solicit the attention of international forces elsewhere.
